The Cardiovascular and Diabetes Coalition of Indiana (CADI) is co-hosting the screening of “A Teachable Moment” with the Central Library as part of their Lifestyle Medicine film series.
The film is a documentary about four individuals who find common ground after surviving a stroke. It both increases awareness that having a stroke is preventable and educates viewers on lifestyle medicine approaches that can be beneficial in prevention. The event will be on Saturday, July 20th and will feature a panel of physicians and a stroke survivor. Learn more and reserve tickets here.
